Climate counts in the Municipality of Horst aan de Maas
Not only have they erected a veritable "climate tree" in the city center as a symbol of the importance of climate adaptation, but they are also focusing on a climate-neutral future.
The application of greenSand Olivine naturally fits into this. The municipality used the CO2-sequestering rock as crushed sand and as semi-paving.
The renovated municipal yard
Climate was also a key consideration in the renovation project of the municipal yard. We find the Oak Heat project particularly inspiring, as it was developed to heat the municipal yard with energy from oak tree fruits.
And, of course, even more climate gains are achieved through the simple switch to olivine-rich jointing sand, which has an MKI score of -17.82 per m3.
Would you like to know how which application of greenSand fits into your municipality?
