Water
Water causes the olivine to react with the CO₂.
This happens in a chemical process that is called rock weathering in science. You can compare it to the rusting of iron. The CO₂ is permanently fixed during this process.

We help the earth remove CO₂
To achieve climate neutrality in 2050, it is necessary to remove greenhouse gases in addition to reducing emissions. So far, CO₂ (carbon dioxide) is the only greenhouse gas that can be removed from the atmosphere.
Since 2008, greenSand has been working to increase the capacity of natural rock weathering and accelerate the absorption of CO₂.
Ideas for the use of greenSand
Here is greenSand cleaning up CO₂
Curious about where we have already spread greenSand olivine-rich rocks and olivine-rich sand ?
