Olaf Schuiling at broadcaster Flevoland

The test at Brennels in Noordoostpolder to reduce the greenhouse effect with the mineral olivine is progressing well. This is according to professor Olaf Schuiling of Utrecht University. Olivine is a common mineral (base) and in combination with water and CO2 (acid) it enters into a chemical reaction. And forms a chalky solution in which the CO2 is stored. Schuiling has requested to observe the test at Brennels for another year. According to the professor, olivine is a solution to climate change. According to Schuiling on broadcaster Flevoland.
