Future-proof sports fields? The Scale-up project officially launches on October 29th.

This coming Wednesday, October 29th, the official launch of innovative plans for future-proof artificial turf pitches at football, hockey, and korfball clubs in Amsterdam and Haarlem will take place. During this private event, the four remaining consortia will present their sustainable and smart solutions, which will be implemented on more than 250 artificial turf pitches. This event will be celebrated and the partnership agreement signed in the presence of the sports aldermen of Amsterdam and Haarlem.

We, the greenSand CO₂ cleaners, are delighted that both municipalities have involved our consortium, with Antea Sport as the main contractor, in this ambitious project. We supply CO₂-capturing soil materials, which sports fields use to actively remove CO₂ from the atmosphere.
