Now Available: Your Chance for Direct Climate Impact!
Join the fight against climate change today with the brand-new Carbon Removal Credits from our ONCRA-certified project: Arnhem Depot. This isn't just any project; it's a powerful statement and a sustainable example for the entire rail sector.
Why this project?
With this project, we, together with our rail partner, Vossloh ETS , aim to set a sustainable example for other (railway) civil engineering projects. Because with a project like this, significant compensation is provided for the emissions associated with the construction. This compensation is not available to Vossloh or NS (Dutch Railways), as they have waived their CO₂ rights.
Your impact counts!
Unfortunately, climate and environmental costs are still too often overlooked. At greenSand, we know we must act NOW . That's why we've ensured that our revolutionary greenSand Olivine is widely applicable, and we've convinced the Dutch Railways (NS) to choose our environmentally friendly semi-hard surfacing instead of cheaper, but environmentally harmful, alternatives.
To convince the Dutch Railways (NS), in exchange for a significant discount on the purchase price, they waived the CO₂ credits resulting from the carbon removal by the greenSand Olivine Semi-Pavement. As you can see, your purchase of Carbon Removal Credits is essential to realizing these groundbreaking projects and building a greener future.
Invest in a cleaner planet
ONCRA , the Dutch authority on Carbon Accounting, has certified our project. This guarantees that each credit represents verified carbon removal. Currently, there are 791 Carbon Removal Credits available, each representing the removal of 1 ton of CO2 over 100 years. This equates to an average CO₂ removal of 7.9 tons per year.
Compare the impact:
Did you know that global CO₂ emissions per person average 13.2 tons per year? ( Source : CBS 2021 )
By purchasing these credits, you can fully offset the emissions of up to 60 employees for an entire year! A nice gift for your Christmas gift?
