Carbon neutral spreading is back again!
Early this morning, the last pallets of greenSand Oliijn crushed sand were loaded to allow for the mixing of additional GoGreenSalt, as the winter weather is expected to persist for some time. Gritting services are working long hours, and increasingly, CO2-neutral road salt, marketed as GoGreenSalt, is being used in more and more locations.

The benefits of CO2-neutral road salt
- GoGreenSalt is an excellent alternative to vacuum salt. It retains moisture, making it ideal for preventative gritting.
- Less green deposits and weeds in the joints of, for example, cobblestone roads due to the natural effect of GoGreenSalt. This reduces maintenance during the growing season.
- GogreenSalt has a higher friction coefficient than regular road salt. This has a positive effect on black ice or icy wet road surfaces, even when it's poorly driven in.
- Receive a validated certificate that will help you obtain specifications and the CO2 Performance Ladder.
- It's CO2 neutral!
