greenSand Decorative Gravel: CO2 removal and climate adaptation
Sometimes it takes a while, but then we suddenly come across beautiful photos of a completed project where greenSand has been cleverly applied. This is often the case when our product is part of a complete garden design.
A magnificent example of this is the Royal Kaak company premises in Terborg. Studio Nico Wissing designed a green, innovative entrance zone here, fitting the company's ambition to further sustainable development of the site.
The eye-catcher in this design?
In addition to the beautiful planting, more than 12 tons of greenSand Decorative Gravel 8-16 mm have been incorporated into this design. The gravel is used in a wadi that collects rainwater and allows it to infiltrate the soil.
This project proves the unique, dual value of greenSand: it is both a product that helps stop climate change by removing CO2 and an essential component of climate adaptation (water management).
