On February 14, greenSand was present at the Kick-off meeting of the municipality of Rotterdam for an Improvement Center for public space. According to the municipality of Rotterdam, this will be the podium for sustainable innovations in the inner-city public space. In the Centre, the municipality, the Infratecture lectorate of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and (SME) companies will work closely together to accelerate ideas from theory to practice. The Public Space Improvement Center will close the gap between research and realization in the real public space.

greenSand will present the greenSand olivine products during this and subsequent meetings; products that are both practically applicable in public space and also compensate for Rotterdam's CO2 emissions. These products range from greenSand substrates with olivine, greenSand crushed sand to greenSand foundation material.
