Project Uithoornlijn - Successfully Certified by ONCRA!

Great news! We are proud to announce that our CO₂ clean-up project Uithoornlijn has been successfully validated and certified by ONCRA according to their renewed methodology, laid down in the Rock Stored Carbon (RSC) protocol. An important milestone for greenSand and a confirmation of our commitment to effective CO₂ removal.

The Certification Process:

For this validation, the project has been thoroughly examined. We have submitted various documents, including a product development document and a KML document with the location where the material has been applied.

ONCRA’s updated protocol has been reviewed by external experts, including Rafael Santos and Adam Wolf, scientists specialized in Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW). They have approved the protocol, which underlines the quality and scientific basis of our approach.

Why this Certification is Important:

This certification means that our method for CO2 removal has been assessed and approved by an independent party. It is a recognition of the quality and transparency of our work. While the focus was previously on a "value chain" certification (where only sales were registered), this is a full validation of our specific project.
