Tennis club TC de Kikkers: cleans up 300 kg of CO2
Another first for TC de Kikkers: spreading greenSand olivine for a sustainable climate.
The newly designed terrain of Tennis Association de Kikkers aims for a sustainable world for the next generation. That is why the new lawn next to the canteen is sprinkled with CO2-binding olivine. This binds almost 300 kg of CO2. This is made possible by the certificate holders of greenSand.
Tennis club de Kikkers is the first tennis club in the world to use this simple way of binding CO2. Chairman Arjan Balkenende: “We would like to contribute to a sustainable world for the next generation. greenSand Olivine enables us to do this in a simple way.”
