Nativity scene on the Lange Voorhout broken down: greenSand Olivine sand distributed

On January 6, the nativity scene on the Lange Voorhout was demolished… The end for the sculpture, but the binding of CO2 continues. In the afternoon, residents and visitors could take a bucket of greenSand olivine for free.

Enthusiastic, many local residents came to collect the sand from noon, to use it to enrich their soil in the garden, as extra nutrition in their potting soil or as play sand in the sandbox. Even the Montessori College of The Hague and Youth Care The Hague were present to contribute to a more sustainable environment for the next generation.

During the period that the greenSand olivine nativity scene was on display in The Hague, small bags of sand were handed out by the greenSand team. These bags contained a discount voucher to collect greenSand potting soil and garden soil for only 5 euros.
