Nico Wissing wins the Gardening World Cup

MEGCHELEN/NAGASAKI - Nico Wissing from Megchelen has won the gold medal during the Gardening Worldcup in Nagasaki, Japan. Wissing was invited to this garden competition by the famous Japanese landscape architect Kazuyuki Ishihara. Wissing was one of ten landscape designers invited to design a show garden within the theme 'Gardens for Peace'. Nico Wissing is ambassador from the very beginning for greenSand and one of the first to incorporate sustainable olivine in his garden designs. His landscaped gardens clean up CO2 and are sustainably fed by greenSand potting and garden soil. The 'Wissing' garden for the reconstructed Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, Japan, was the big winner!
