MEGCHELEN/NAGASAKI - Nico Wissing from Megchelen has won the gold medal during the Gardening World Cup in Nagasaki, Japan. Wissing was invited for this garden competition by the famous Japanese landscape architect Kazuyuki Ishihara. Wissing was one of ten landscape designers invited to design a show garden within the theme 'Gardens for Peace'. Nico Wissing is an ambassador for greenSand from the very beginning and one of the first to incorporate the sustainable olivine into his garden designs. His landscaped gardens clean up CO2 and are sustainably fed by greenSand potting and garden soil. The 'Wissing' garden for the replica Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, Japan, was the big winner!
