The Georeizen Foundation has prepared an excursion to Cyprus. In Cyprus one finds a lot of olivine (greenSand). Cyprus is an island in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. This is an excursion for amateur geologists and people interested in Geology.
Professor Olaf Schuiling will lead a geological excursion in Cyprus from 3 to 10 April next year. As mentioned, many olivine rocks occur here.
