Residents from the Grote Waal were pleasantly surprised with the greenSand potting soil for the new vegetable garden, designed for and by local residents. This project was supported by the municipality of Hoorn with the project Pure Horn .

GreenSand potting soil is particularly suitable for the vegetable garden due to the addition of the mineral olivine. Olivine contains an element of magnesium. Magnesium is one of the most important building materials for the plant. In addition, most people in the Netherlands have a magnesium deficiency in their blood. This can be remedied by eating plants with the correct nutritional value.

In Hoorn, the bags are in any case ready to be used in the ten new bins, which will be made by the Horizon College in Hoorn.
